Rosa Parks’ Letter Recognizing MLK Jr. Available For Sale

Dr. Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks

A handwritten letter from Civil Rights icon Rosa Parks is on table for purchase.

In the letter, she honors Martin Luther King, Jr., 11-years after his death, calling him "the leader of the masses in Montgomery, Alabama and the nation... a devoted husband, and father to his wife and children. A loving and loyal son to his parents."

The piece of history, being sold for $54,000, has been with a private collector for the last 15 years after she sent it to an autograph collector in 1979.
