The Philadelphia Eagles haven't been invited to celebrate their Super Bowl win at the White House, according to TMZ.

White House sources told the outlet that President Donald Trump hasn't extended an invite to the Philadelphia Eagles after they dominated the championship game, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.

The news follows resurfaced reports from over the weekend that the Philadelphia Eagles declined the traditional victory invitation to the White House. According to The Sun, when asked if they would accept Trump's invitation, the Eagles gave a "massive no."

Questions over the status of the Eagles' White House appearance come after Trump declined to invite the team during his first presidential term following the 2018 Super Bowl. Trump's move came after several Eagles players knelt during the national anthem.

Amid this year's Super Bowl, Eagles captain Lane Johnson said it would be an honor to visit the White House, but the decision would be left up to a team vote if they received an invitation.

Trump made history as the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl earlier this month.

When asked by reporters if Trump's presence would bring "added pressure," Eagles quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts concisely said, "No ma'am."
