A Black homeowner confronted her neighbor after discovering that the woman was allegedly using her outdoor spigot to water her own lawn without permission.
Quesha Foster, who posts on TikTok as @ladyqueworld, shared several videos documenting the dispute.
In the first video shared to TikTok on Saturday (October 24), Foster repeatedly questions why her neighbor is using water from her property and threatens to contact police and her homeowners association.
“Why would you be watering your grass from my home?” Foster asked.
“I’m sorry you’re on camera, and I’m calling the police, and I’m talking to the homeowners association, cause that’s theft,” she said.
When Foster asked whether the neighbor would pay her water bill, the woman responded, “I can pay your water bill.”
Foster replied, “You’re going to have to cause I’m gonna call the police.
In a follow-up video posted on Sunday (October 25),a police car is seen driving up to the neighbors’ homes before an officer speaks with Foster’s neighbor.
In a third video shared Tuesday (October 27), Foster claims the neighbor was charged with criminal trespassing and is prohibited from entering her property, including her driveway and yard. According to Foster, police warned that the woman would be arrested if she returned.
Foster also said she emailed her homeowners association and planned to contact her water company to determine how long the alleged water use had continued and whether her bill could be reassessed.
“What I heard is it’s been years,” Foster said, adding that she could not confirm how long it had been happening.
Foster said she installed a lock to prevent unauthorized access to the water connection and was considering adding a fence. She thanked viewers for their support and said she would share updates as she received responses from the homeowners association and water company.
